What makes the Lumi-Emergency® light different?

It is integrated within the light, to keep be used as a conventional Downlight until the event of an emergency. The green LED at the centre of the plugin glows to provide peace of mind that the emergency light is ready to take action but dims at night to allow restful room lighting.
Is the Lumi-Emergency® light as safe as ordinary emergency lights?

Yes. All our products including our emergency lights are fully accredited and certified by third-party regulators to ensure peace of mind across your entire home. Our emergency light is more discreet but no less complete, making your space safe and stylish.
If the Lumi-Emergency® light or LED light fail do I have to replace the whole fixture?

No. We’ve designed the product so you just replace the part you need. You can replace the emergency light by adding this product to your basket and the light source here. However, our Downlight has a 5 year use non-stop life cycle or 50,000 hours and our emergency light has a 5-year guarantee so you won’t have to worry about this for a while.
Where would I need an emergency light in my home?

We feel additional safety should always be considered. Thanks to our design, beautifully hiding your emergency lights this will not sacrifice the look of your home. Emergency lighting should be situated in the hallway and landing areas, to help you find your way out of the home using the means of escape in case of a mains power failure.
