Yes. All our products including our smoke alarm are fully accredited and certified by third-party regulators to ensure peace of mind across your entire home. Our smoke alarm is more discreet but no less complete, making your space safe and stylish.

Yes. There is a myth from traditional fittings that this is not possible. However, our smoke alarm plugin has been tested so the alarms detects and functions perfectly with or without the optional light fitting in place. No. We’ve designed the product so you just replace the part you need. You can replace the smoke alarm here and the light source here. However, our light has a 5 year use non-stop life cycle or 50,000 hours and our smoke alarm has a 10 year life so you don’t need to worry about this for a while.

Depending on the level of protection your home needs you will typically require a minimum of x1 heat alarm in the kitchen and x2 smoke alarms covering your hallways and landing areas (means of escape). Your electrician will be able to advise you on this but we’re always happy to help too.

This is a dedicated smoke alarm plugin designed to integrate with the LP110 Downlight. It is a single-function sensor to ensure optimum detection; however, it can wirelessly interlink with up to 32 other Lumi-Plugin® alarms, including Heat and CO sensors, to protect your entire home.

Smoke alarms are sensitive to cooking fumes and should not be installed in kitchens or near fireplaces. For those areas, we recommend using our dedicated Heat Alarm plugin instead

This unit is mains powered and features a non-replaceable CR2 10-year lithium backup battery. The battery is designed to last the full 10-year lifespan of the alarm, after which the entire unit should be replaced.
