No. We’ve designed the product so you just replace the part you need. You can replace the smoke alarm here. However, our smoke alarm has a 10 year life so you don’t need to worry about this for a while.

Depending on the level of protection your home needs you will typically require a minimum of x1 heat alarm in the kitchen and x2 smoke alarms covering your hallways and landing areas (means of escape). Your electrician will be able to advise you on this but we’re always happy to help too.

Yes, the One-Smoke is a standalone fixture designed to be installed without a downlight to create a streamlined, recessed look. It requires a 92mm cut-out and sits almost flush against the ceiling to minimise clutter.

The One-Smoke is mains powered (110V AC/230V DC) and comes with its own pre-wired junction box for installation. It is designed for standard ceiling installation by a competent electrician in accordance with BS 7671.

Yes, it includes a non-replaceable CR2 10-year battery. If the unit begins to beep once every 48 seconds, it indicates the battery is reaching the end of its life and the unit must be replaced.
